Microsoft Word for Mac 2016 won't reopen windows

Hello everybody,

This is the case. When I open up a document and reboot/restart Mac OS X with the "Reopen windows when logging back in" option turned on it indeed turns Microsoft Word back on the next time I boot it up.

However, it does not open the exact document I started out with. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this?
